Lalitha Sahasranamam Stotram – 1008 Names of Tripura Sundari

Lalitha Sahasranamam is a part of the Brahmanda Purana and It was given to the great Rishi Agastya by Lord Hayagriva, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. 84 Shlokas in the Brahmanda Purana speaks about the benefits of reciting Lalitha Sahasranamam and it was Veda Vyasa who propagated and conveyed it to humanity.

Lalitha Sahasranamam is an encomium to the Goddess Lalitha Tripura Sundari, extolling her virtues, victories, associations, aspects, greatness, perfections, powers, and manifestations. Goddess Lalitha Tripura Sundari is one of the ten Mahavidyas. Tripura Sundari Devi is considered the highest manifestation of Adi Parashakti.
