Jyotish Shastra, Popular as Vedic Astrology or Hindu Astrology, comes from Vedic thoughts and philosophy since it is rooted in the Vedas. Jyotish means ‘the science of light or heavenly body,’ and Shastra means ‘knowledge on the particular field.’

Vedic Astrology is much more than twelve zodiac signs; it is related to the nature of light and the radiation of various objects (especially the celestial entities).
