Goddess Kamala is the tenth and last of all Mahavidyas (great wisdom). According to Shiva Purana, she is the bestower of joy here and liberation hereafter. She is the form of Parvati, as all Mahavidyas are, and she is also considered the one who takes care of all her devotees.
Devi Kamala is the daughter of sage Bhrigu, and she is also known as Tantric Lakshmi.

Appearance and attire
Goddess Kamala has a golden complexion. She is portrayed in a red dress with lavish gold jewelry. She is being surrounded by four elephants who are pouring jars of amrita (nectar) over her. Her two hands are placed in Abhaya Mudra (gesture of giving assurance) and vara mudra( gesture of giving boon) while carrying two lotuses on the other two hands. She sits on a lotus in Padmasana Posture.
Goddess Kamala is infamously known for her power of creation. She has the power to create wealth and beauty around us. She also represents the development of a person by maintaining the dharma of keeping the seven chakras of the body open. She is one of the primal forms of feminine energy in Hinduism. Some texts also refer to her as the form of goddess Lakshmi.
The Lotus Goddess
Goddess Kamala is highly associated with lotuses. She is often portrayed carrying lotuses in her arms, and her worship is also done with lotuses. As she is the goddess of creation, lotus here has two meanings. First, it represents life and fertility- yoni or female genitalia. In the cosmic state, the lotus represents the entire created order.
The planet, stars, and Nakshatra (constellation) orientation are in order of each other as petals in lotus. Like a lotus, which is rooted in mud, but its petals are not tainted by earth we human beings though rooted in our material world (mud), must not be tainted by it and transcend into a higher state of knowledge and devotion.

A statue or a photo of goddess Kamala is established on a small table or plank covered by a red, yellow, or white cloth.
